ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Andrea L.Blair, D.M.H.G, is an author and speaker whose autobiography, NOT MY WAY, takes the reader on her challenging journey as she struggles to overcome the devastation and heartbreak which cancer has caused in her life. Forced to reevaluate her priorities, Andrea searched for and found answers. Her compelling story of courage and faith is an inspiration and invitation to look beyond the perceptible and to believe the impossible.
Married in 1961, Andrea was a housewife and mother until in 1979, circumstances caused a radical shift in her life. She became actively involved in her church in numerous ministries- prayer ministry, inner healing, teacher of "life in the Spirit " seminars, and an ecumenical concert choir member.
She received certification from the School of Evangelization at the Franciscan University of Steubenville, Ohio. It was then that she begsn actively evangelizing for two years in upstate New York. Andrea has also participated as a presenter in prayer ministry in retreats for abused women.
Andrea and her husband Richard reside in upstate New York where they participate as volunteers with the Catholic Center of the Good News Foundation, a private foundation for Catholic evangelization. Andrea wrote, developed and presented a program for the Center entitled "The Unopened Gift" , designed to bring others into a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ.
Andrea considers her relationship with Jesus and the empowerment of his spirit to be her most valued credential as she seeks to proclaim his marvelous deeds as author and speaker.
